Official: Russia to launch large-capacity turbine serial output ‘20

RYBINSK, Yaroslavl Region, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- Serial production of Russian large-capacity gas turbines GTD-110M will start in 2020, Deputy CEO of state industrial corporation Rostec Vladimir Artyakov said on Friday.

“We plan serial production for 2020,” Artyakov said, adding that the necessary capacities are ready.

Russia does not produce gas turbines with a capacity of 110 megawatts and more. In March, the government decided to create facilities for production of large gas turbines with 7 billion rubles of budget financing for 2019–2021.
